IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PRAY for specific prayer concerns regarding members of our congregation, check out the prayer request page on our church website. Go to www.friendswood friends.org, click on the “News” tab, and then click on “Prayer Requests”. For confidentiality, this is a password-protected file, so you will need to enter the password to access the requests. If you have a request that you would like us to add to the list, you can call or email the church office.  If the request is for someone else, please check with them to be sure they are willing to have it posted on the site before you contact us. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for our church, our community and the world.

OUR ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER will take place on Sunday, November 18th at 5:00 p.m. – a delicious catered dinner of turkey, ham and all the trimmings. For this event you will need to purchase tickets in advance; they will not be available at the door. You can get them in the Coffee Café following the worship service TODAY or November 11th at a cost of $15 per ticket for adults and teens, or $10 per ticket for ages 6-12 (kids age 5 and under are free). You can also purchase tickets at the church office during the week. The last date to get tickets will be Monday, November 12th so that we can provide a final count to the caterer. There will not be an auction following the dinner this year, but we will enjoy a delicious meal, some music and the opportunity to spend time together as a church family as we celebrate and give thanks for God’s many blessings to us.  Please join us!
