LADIES, YOU ARE INVITED to a baby shower for Grace Kirkpatrick TODAY from 2-3:30 pm in the Coffee Café. Grace and Allen are expecting a baby girl and are registered at babylist.com. We hope that you can join us!
UPDATE ON FAMILY PROMISE: We were notified a few days ago that the family that we were scheduled to host for Family Promise starting today is no longer in the program, so unless a new family is admitted to the program this week, we will not be hosting guests. If you have signed up to volunteer, our Family Promise Coordinators will contact you if there is a change. If you have questions, contact Beth Skeeter or Desiree Trevino. Thank you so much for your willingness to serve!
THE FLOWER CHART for 2020 has been posted in the foyer. You are invited to sign up for a date to provide the altar flowers in honor of a loved one or a special occasion in your family. Just sign your name by the date you have chosen – you’ll get a reminder by e-mail or card in the mail shortly before your chosen date.
CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS will be sent out in mid-January. Most statements will be sent by email to save on costs and time, but if you prefer a printed statement we are more than happy to provide that. Just call the church office or email email@example.com to request that your statement be mailed rather than sent by email.
WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to help with projecting the slides during Sunday morning worship services. If you are willing to help, you would serve about once every month or so, and your date can be flexible to work around other commitments that you have. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Shannon Harris at the church office. One of our current video technicians would provide training, and you could have a trial run with one of them before handling a service on your own. Our projection software makes the process pretty easy, so if you are used to working with computers you would pick it up very quickly. Please pray about whether this would be a ministry that you could become involved in. It is a great way to serve without requiring a big time commitment.
