The people of Friendswood Friends Church care about this community, and are engaged in many different ministries that touch the lives of people locally and in the greater Houston area.
You can find members of our congregation doing everything from taking meals to the elderly, hosting homeless families in our church building, helping newly-arrived refugees adjust to life in our city, working to raise awareness of and help combat human trafficking, volunteering at a playgroup for special needs children, taking our VBS program “on the road” to communities in need, gathering materials for recycling, and a myriad of other ways we are seeking to be good neighbors.
We encourage our people to get involved in any of our existing ministries, or to help us initiate new ministries in obedience to God’s leading. We also partner with other organizations in order to make the best possible use of our resources and to learn from others who are working effectively.
Our web site shows a sampling of the local ministries that our congregation is involved in. For more information on any of them, please contact us.
