2020 HOMETOWN FUN RUN & WALK
THE 2020 HOMETOWN FUN RUN & WALK is coming up on Saturday, April 4th. The event includes a one-mile Family Race (run or walk) and a 5K race through downtown Friendswood. Color of Compromise Study begins on February 14
Beginning on Sunday, February 14th, we will be offering another session of The Color of Compromise. This video study, based on the book by Jemar Tisby, explores the history of the American church’s role in the oppression of Black people and ends by calling us to anti-racist work. For this session we will meet by Zoom only, with 8 weekly sessions led by Brian Coughlin, Patti Velky, Peter Van Nifterik and David Bridges. Christmas Eve Service Reservations
This year, due to distancing protocols and anticipation of increased attendance at the Christmas Eve Services, we will be making a few changes to our Candlelight services. These changes are Covid-prompted for this year, and thus not likely to be permanent changes to the services.
