Sunday School for All Ages

Sunday School classes for all ages will resume meeting on Sunday, August 21st at 9 am. Children and teens meet in age-grouped classes where they enjoy snacks and fun along with learning important truths from the Bible. Our adult class is currently doing an in-depth study on the book of Mark, examining the life of Christ along with the implications for our own lives. Worship Service

Our worship services take place on Sunday mornings at 10 am. You have the option to attend in person, watch a live stream of the service, or watch the recording of the service at your convenience. Please join us!

Children’s Church

Our children’s church program is for kids age 3 through 5th grade. Children stay with their parents for the first part of the worship service and then head over to our Friends Center for their own worship time, snacks and games. For more information, contact

BBQ Lunch & Silent Auction

Our Friendswood Friends Church missions team is sponsoring a BBQ dinner to raise funds for missions on Sunday, October 2nd immediately following the morning worship service.  Enjoy a delicious dinner and a break from cooking, while also helping to support our missionaries!  The dinners will be prepackaged in  “to go” boxes and served with canned drinks.  You will have the option of staying to eat your meal at church and visit with others, or to take them as carry out…

Shower Ministry to the Homeless

Our church sends a group of volunteers to “Lord of the Streets” in downtown Houston each Tuesday. We take a shower trailer as well as toiletries and new or used clothing, and provide the opportunity for about 50 homeless men and women to be able to take a shower and change into some clean clothes. Common Prayer for Men

Common Prayer for Men on Wednesdays:  If you’re interested in a brief time of fellowship and worship on Wednesday mornings, you’re welcome to join this men’s group at 6:15am at the church. We spend a few minutes talking about life then use the liturgy from to guide our scripture reading and prayer together.  We’re done by 7:15am.  Contact David Bridges for information.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Celebrate the birth of Christ with us at a candlelight service on December 24th at 6 pm. The service features Christmas carols, scripture readings, lighting of the Advent candles, a brief message, and our beloved tradition of the lighting of congregational candles – our Worship Center is transformed from darkness to light as we share candlelight with one another. Nursery care is available for children 3 years and under.
