Common Prayer for Men

Common Prayer for Men on Wednesdays.  If you’re interested in a brief time of fellowship and worship on Wednesday mornings, you’re welcome to join this men’s group at 6:30am at the church (or sometimes on Zoom). We spend a few minutes talking about life then use the liturgy from Commonprayer.net to guide our scripture reading and prayer together.  We’re done by 7:30am.  Contact David Bridges for information.

Sunday School for All Ages

Our Sunday school classes for adults, students and children take place on Sunday mornings at 9 am. For information about children’s classes, contact Janet Black (janet@friendswoodfriends.org). For junior high and high school, contact Josiah Brown (josiah@friendswoodfriends.org.) Our adult classes will have a rotating series of teachers and topics. Nursery care is provided for babies & toddlers, age 6 weeks through 3 years. We hope that you will join us at 9 am on Sundays!

Worship Service

Our worship services take place on Sunday mornings at 10 am. You have the option to attend in person, watch a live stream of the service, or watch the recording of the service at your convenience. Please join us!

Drive through Food Pantry

Our drive through food pantry is open on the last Monday of each month from 4 to 5 pm. Pull in to the side of the parking lot closest to the cemetery, and drive up to the large building in back. There will be people there to help load food into your car. Donations of non-perishable food items are also welcome during this time. Thank you for helping to bless those in our community who are in need!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Celebrate the birth of Christ with us at a candlelight service on December 24th at 6 pm. The service features Christmas carols, scripture readings, lighting of the Advent candles, a brief message, and our beloved tradition of the lighting of congregational candles – our Worship Center is transformed from darkness to light as we share candlelight with one another. Nursery care is available for children 3 years and under.

New Years Eve Prayer and Communion

Begin the New Year with prayer! You are invited to stop by the Worship Center any time between 6 pm and 7 pm on New Year’s Eve. The altar will be open for prayer. Our pastors will be available to pray with you, and to serve communion for those who desire to receive it.
