Kolaches and Common Prayer

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to meet for breakfast and a time of prayer before school on Thursday mornings. We meet at Josiah & Courtney Brown’s house (1016 W Castlewood, near Friendswood High School) from 7:45-8:15 am. Come and bring a friend!

Sunday School for All Ages

Our Sunday school classes for adults, students and children take place on Sunday mornings at 9 am. For information about children’s classes, contact Janet Black (janet@friendswoodfriends.org). For junior high and high school, contact Josiah Brown (josiah@friendswoodfriends.org.) Our adult classes will have a rotating series of teachers and topics. Nursery care is provided for babies & toddlers, age 6 weeks through 3 years. We hope that you will join us at 9 am on Sundays!

FUSE

FUSE is our weekly gathering for 6th-8th graders. We meet on Sundays from 6-8 pm for games, fellowship, and a short lesson (and snacks!) All junior high/middle school students are welcome. For more information, contact Josiah Brown: josiah@friendswoodfriends.org.

CORE

Our high school students meet from 7:30-9 pm on Sunday evenings for games, fellowship, and interactive lessons on important biblical and topical issues, taught by students and adults. For more information, contact Josiah Brown: josiah@friendswoodfriends.org.

Fall Beach Retreat

Our all-church Fall Retreat is back! We will be headed to a group of beach houses in Galveston this November 12-14.  Families and individuals of all ages are welcome; come and get to know one another and spend time in retreat together! We plan to arrive Friday evening, have two worship sessions together, time for rest and play together, and return Sunday around lunchtime.  The cost is $100 per adult, $75 per student ages 4-18, and $25 for children 3…

Christmas Caroling and Hayride

Our annual Christmas caroling and hayride will take place on Tuesday, December 7th. We meet at the church for a light supper at about 4:30 and then load up the hay wagons to travel to some nearby homes as well as a nursing home to share some carols and Christmas cheer.
