Our Family Promise guests arrive this Sunday, May 14th!  There are lots of ways to volunteer – you can sign up to bring an evening meal (or part of a meal), help with set up of the beds on May 14th, help with childcare for the Tuesday evening class, or spend one night at the church during our host week.  (You’ll have a room of your own; beds are provided but you need to bring your own pillow and linens.)  For more information, contact Beth Skeeter or Desiree Trevino, or the church office.

Please join us as we celebrate Josiah and Courtney Brown’s 6 years of ministry among us! We want to surround the Brown family with our love and prayers as they prepare to move to Chandler, Oklahoma to begin their ministry at Chandler Friends Church. The celebration will take place on Sunday, May 21st in the Coffee Café following the worship service. For details or to RSVP, go to http://evite.me/NK1Qse2xRc.

Please pray for our church staff during this time of transition – for Josiah and Janet as they finish up this season of ministry, for Katelyn, Jennifer, Josh and Tena who will be joining our staff in the coming months, and for Bobby and Joyce as they help to provide continuity in the midst of many changes.  And pray for our church, that each of us would be obedient to God’s calling as we serve Him together!

When I think of the wisdom and scope of his plan, I fall down on my knees and pray to the Father of all the great family of God—some of them already in heaven and some down here on earth— that out of his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you the mighty inner strengthening of his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love;and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.

Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. May he be given glory forever and ever through endless ages because of his master plan of salvation for the Church through Jesus Christ.  – Ephesians 3:14-21 TLB
