Welcome to Student Ministries at Friendswood Friends Church. I am so glad you are here! We hope to inspire teenagers to follow Jesus by engaging them in important spiritual practices (like prayer, Bible study, and service) and providing a Christian community that can walk alongside them in their spiritual journey. WEEKLY
RHYTHMS
DONUTS AND DISCUSSIONS
SUNDAYS | 9:00 – 9:45am | FRIENDS CENTER – UPSTAIRS
Sunday School meets each Sunday morning at 9:00am in order to study the Bible. All students in grades 6-12 are invited to come and enjoy the fellowship, study, and donuts.
FUSE – JR. HIGH
SUNDAYS | 6:00 – 7:30pm | FRIENDS CENTER – DOWNSTAIRS
FUSE is a weekly gathering for 6th-8th grade students that meets Sunday nights during the school year. Enter the Friends Center and head to the gym for a time of games, snacks, and learning from a trusted adult.
CORE – SR. HIGH
SUNDAYS | 7:10 – 8:40pm | FRIENDS CENTER – UPSTAIRS
CORE is a weekly gathering for 9th-12th grade students that meets Sunday nights during the school year. Expect to worship through music, participate in engaging lessons from High School students and adults, and play games. Enter the Friends Center and head up the stairs.
JR. HIGH BIBLE QUIZ – GRADES 7 & 8
SUNDAYS | 7:30 – 8:30pm | FRIENDS CENTER – UPSTAIRS
Bible Quiz is a fun and in-depth way for 7th and 8th-graders to study and memorize Scripture. Churches in our denomination meet 4-5 times in the spring to compete with one another. The competition and travel create a tight-knit community between students and adult leaders.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM
TIMES AND LOCATIONS VARY BY TEAM NEEDS
Juniors and Seniors are invited in May each year to join the Student Leadership Team. We meet weekly to “go deep” with one another, plan CORE, and pray together.

Mexico Missions Trip | March 6th-12th | Coahuila, Mexico
Spring Connection allows students to serve the foreign mission field for one-week, experiencing ministry in a cross-cultural community and observing God’s action in the context of Coahuila, Mexico Friends Churches.
