Acts 3 opens with Peter and John going to the temple. They see a paralyzed man outside the gates, and we see how they perform the first miracle of the church. In studying the three phases of the miracle, there is much to learn through the details of the story. These observations can help us in navigating how to live more like Jesus. In Acts 3:16 “It’s because of faith in Jesus’ name, God has strengthened this man whom you see and know. The faith that comes through Jesus gave him complete health right before your eyes.” Then, may we, too, give credit to Jesus’ name.
