For the past year, Donuts & Discussions has been a beautiful space where kids as young as three and high schoolers alike have gathered to learn, share, and grow together during the 9 o’clock hour on Sunday mornings. Tena and I have loved leading short teachings, activities, and peer discussions, but what has been most exciting is watching the relationships that have formed across generations. This past Sunday at youth group, we saw another example of this when several ladies from the Monday pickleball group joined us for Pink Out Pickleball Night. Watching them coach, play, and truly engage with our students was such a joy. It wasn’t just about the game, it was an opportunity for students to learn a few more names of adults and feel a little more connected to the church family. These intergenerational relationships matter, and they leave a lasting impact! One of the most beautiful aspects of the Church is how God designed it to be a family, where wisdom and faith are passed from one generation to the next. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” This isn’t just a call to parents, it’s a reminder to all of us that pouring into the next generation is a shared responsibility. Something powerful happens when younger and older generations connect, whether over donuts, discussion, or even pickleball. Faith isn’t just taught; it’s modeled. Encouragement isn’t just given; it’s lived out. And belonging isn’t just a concept; it’s experienced. Jesus himself welcomed children, reminding us in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” He didn’t see them as distractions but as essential to the kingdom. May we have the same heart, to make space for the next generation, to call them by name, and to show them, through relationships, what it means to be part of the body of Christ. Let’s keep building these connections. They matter more than we know! Blessings, Katelyn
Church Family Directory
Our church will be using Instant Church Directory as the platform for the new directory. It will have mobile and printable capabilities. Step 1 to this process is filling out this simple online form. Once we have collected data, we will upload your information to Instant Church Directory and let you know how to access the directory and add more detail, like a photo, to your profile. We anticipate sending instructions for Step 2 on March 4th. To be included in the printed version of the online directory, both steps must be completed by March 25th. If you have any questions about the process or need help completing any of the steps, please contact the church office. We are happy to help! See our website for basic safety information on Instant Church Directory.

Valentine’s Lunch
For over twenty years a group of single ladies in our church and community gather for a Valentine’s Lunch at La Casita. This beautiful tradition continued last Friday. We are thankful to our host for gathering this group together and for all the ladies that attend.
