Coming up in just a few weeks, we will have the perfect opportunity to help welcome children in Jesus’ name – Vacation Bible School! We are grateful to those who have volunteered to work at VBS all week, but there are many other ways to help that involve a much smaller time commitment. Would you consider doing one or more of these things to help us to welcome these precious children and their families?
- Help to set up for our VBS picnic – we need helpers on Friday morning, July 14th between 9 – 10:30 am to set up tables and chairs as well as help with tablecloths and decorations in preparation for the picnic on Sunday. Contact Joyce or Jennifer at the church office if you can help.
- Come to the VBS picnic on July 16th after the worship service, and make a special effort to greet the families who will be visiting that day and to help them feel welcome.
- We need one or more volunteers to grill hamburgers and hotdogs for the picnic – they would need to be cooked on Sunday morning, July 16th. Contact Janet at the church office if you are available to help grill.
The simplest of ways we could use your help is in PRAYER for God’s blessing on the 250+ children and 100 volunteers who will be on our campus from July 10-14.
