| We are saddened to share the passing of Marian Gordner on May 10, 2026. Marian was a beloved member of the community whose joyful spirit touched many lives. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home in Friendswood. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 14, at 11:00 AM, also at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Friendswood Friends Cemetery. Friends are encouraged to gather afterward for an ice cream social in the Coffee Cafe to continue celebrating Marian’s life together. In honor of Marian’s memory, donations may be made to the Friendswood Friends Church Youth Activities Fund or Saving Grace Service Dogs. A link to her full obituary is available below. |

| Summer Sundays As we begin transitioning into Summer, our Children’s and Student Ministries will pause Donuts and Discussions during the 9:00 hour on May 17th and 24th. Then, beginning on May 31st at 9:00 am before worship, all ages (children, students and adults) are welcome to join us in the Coffee Cafe for Cafe Conversations! This is a time to gather, eat some donuts, drink some coffee, explore different topics through conversation, and get to know someone new. |
