Women’s Ministry Dinner
You’re Invited to “Come to the Table” for a Women’s Ministry Dinner & Blanket Drive.
Join us on November 17th at 6:00 pm in Jennifer Sitton’s home, 1007 Thomas Dr., for an evening woven with friendship, faith, and purpose.

At the Table, we’ll share a comforting meal and meaningful conversation. Through Giving, we’ll extend warmth and love to our community by collecting blankets for our homeless shower ministry.

Come as you are, feel free to bring a friend, and please bring a gently used blanket to share warmth with those in need.

RSVP info to follow!
Family Promise
What a blessing to host and serve families this week with Family Promise. We are thankful to the many volunteers that have already served. We still have a few opportunities to serve, and if you would like more information on how to serve you can contact the church office or sign-up to volunteer below.

Undie Sunday
We are partnering with FISDCares to collect NEW socks, underwear, and pajamas in child and adult sizes for students in our district in need.
Collection bins can be found in the foyer, Coffee Cafe, and in Friends Center through November 9th. Contact the church office for details.

Sunday Evening Activities
All Sunday evening activities continue in their normal time and places. See you there!

It’s Pie Time!
Junior High Bible Quizzers will be selling pies before and after the service for the next two Sundays. Stop by and order one, or a few, to help the quizzers raise funds for quiz trips. Pecan and pumpkin pies are $20 per pie and Becky Wilber’s famous apple pie sells for $25. Thank you so much for supporting our Bible Quiz Team.

Souper Thanksgiving
Join us on November 23 after the service for a Thanksgiving meal of soups, stews, and chilis. There is no cost, but donations are welcome to support two mission trips scheduled for the spring. The first is our student ministries Spring Break trip to Mexico and the second is a VBS trip to Peru. More information on these trips coming soon.
Silent Auction
We also have a silent auction in the Coffee Cafe benefiting these mission trips. Four quilts have been donated by the quilting group that meets here every other Monday, one of which was pieced by Verla Perry! There are also four bowls turned by Steve Alexander from the old oak tree that are included in the silent auction. We are thankful to the quilters and to Steve for sharing their beautiful creative giftedness with us. Bidding takes place in the Coffee Cafe before and after the Sunday service the next two weeks. Winners will be notified on November 23rd. Thank you for supporting missions!
Baby Clothes Swap
Many families in the church have been blessed by impromptu baby clothing swaps, and these families are looking to pay it forward. If you are a family with little ones or you have littles in your extended family that would appreciate previously loved baby -toddler clothing, stop by Friends Center on November 15th from 2-4 pm to pickup some new to you baby and toddler clothes.
This is a great opportunity to pass on clothes your little may have grown out of and grab something that may fit a little better. Whether you have something to pass on or not, we hope you will feel welcome to shop around.
If you have clothes you would like to donate or would like more information on the event, you can contact Sara Elder by email or give her a call (503) 917-1312.
 Weekly Prayer in the Chapel
You are invited to a weekly time of prayer in our Chapel on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm. This is a come and go experience for all ages. We hope you will join us in prayer on Tuesday evenings.
Bell Practice
Bell Friends practice at 12:30 pm on Thursdays in the Coffee Cafe. Bring your lunch at noon prior to practice for additional fellowship. Contact Nancy Hansen if you have any questions.
