| Bible Quiz |
| Junior High Bible Quiz is a fun and challenging way for 7th and 8th graders to dive into Scripture, learn more about the Bible, and memorize God’s Word. Each spring, churches from across our denomination come together 4–5 times to compete in Bible Quiz. Students form teams, study together, travel together, and build friendships along the way. The combination of competition, teamwork, Scripture, and time together creates a really special community between students and adult leaders.And of course, there are plenty of memories made along the way that students will carry with them for years to come! Join us for a Parent Informational meeting on Sunday, October 4th, right after the service in the Coffee Cafe. Our first Bible Quiz practice will be that evening from 5:00-6:00 pm in Friends Center. |
| Men’s Spiritual Formation |
| Renovation of the Heart: An Eight-Month Spiritual Formation Journey begins on October 1st in the Brides Room at 7:00pm. Are you looking for a deeper walk with Christ and lasting spiritual transformation? Renovation of the Heart is an eight-month discipleship journey, designed to help men grow in Christlikeness through Scripture, prayer, spiritual practices, and authentic Christian community. Through Scripture and supporting insights from Dallas Willard’s Renovation of the Heart, participants will explore how God transforms the whole person: heart, mind, body, relationships, and soul.Participants will engage in weekly gatherings and simple daily practices that cultivate attentiveness to God, spiritual growth, and meaningful relationships with other men. Along the way, participants will discover what it means to live as apprentices of Jesus while growing in the Friends’ testimonies of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship.
