Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, with streets covered in cloaks and palm branches, while the people shouted “Hosanna!”. Through this celebration, Jesus seemingly accepted the title and designation of a king. Jesus, our king, is here to unite us, go before us, and meet our needs with love and humility. This week, let’s marvel at Jesus and ask, “What kind of a king is this?”. Then those who went ahead and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” Mark 11:9
