Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God, and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God. The person who doesn’t love does not know God, because God is love. This is how the love of God is revealed to us: God has sent his only Son into the world so that we can live through him. We have known and have believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who remain in love remain in God and God remains in them.
1 John 4: 7-9, 16

Missions Night
Missions Night was such a fun and informational night learning about how God moves and works in other cultures around the world. We are so thankful to Grace Kirkpatrick, Molly De La Cerda, and the entire Missions team for putting on an event showcasing the missionaries we support. Visit our Facebook page to view some of the fun.

Holy Week
During Holy Week, April 14th-20th, we invite you to journey to the cross through prayer.

Monday- Wednesday, we will have the chapel open from  6:30-8:00 pm providing a sacred space for reflection and prayer. Through various interactive prayer stations, we invite you and your family to travel from Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem to His crucifixion, preparing our hearts for the hope of resurrection. Come and go as you are able to take time to pause, pray, and experience the depth of His love.

Maundy Thursday, also at 6:30 pm, an additional communion station will be added and available for reflection on the last supper.

On Good Friday, there will be a traditional evening service in the chapel at 6:30pm. The prayer journey will remain open until 8:30 pm. Nursery care will be provided.

On Easter Sunday, April 20th, an Easter Sunrise Service will take place near the picnic tables in front of Friends Center at 6:45 am. Then, join us at 10:00 am for an Easter Worship Service.

Giving Box
After conversations with our ushers and greeters, it became clear we needed to have a more secure place for our church family to leave offerings on Sunday morning. We are thankful to Kelly Browning for using her talents to create a new wooden locked giving box to be placed in the foyer. If you would like to donate to the church on Sunday mornings by cash or check, look for the wooden box in the foyer as a secure place to offer your gift.

Parenting with Purpose
Come join us this Sunday after the service to hear speaker Barbara Gruener provide us with information to help us gain tools to help navigate family blowups.  Parents with children of all ages are encouraged to attend. Church Family Directory
Thank you to everyone that completed Step 1 and Step 2 for the new church directory!
If you still need to complete Step 1, you can do so here.  Once you have submitted your information, you will receive an email on how to complete Step 2.
For those that have completed Step 1 previously, you may begin the Step 2 process any time. Detailed instructions can be found on our website.
For anyone that is interested in having their information featured in the directory but would feel more comfortable if someone else did the data entry for them, we are glad to do that. Just email Jennifer at the church office to let her know, and we will add your information to the directory for you.
If you are interested in a printed version of the directory, please call the church office and we will put your name on the list. Likewise, if you need assistance with any of the steps, please give us a call. We are here to help!

Easter Chorale

Student Ministries Update
JH Bible Quiz Thank You!
Last Saturday we hosted Bible Quiz. Hosting Bible Quiz always requires extra hands, and we had such amazing volunteers. This year was exceptionally interesting as a transformer blew and sent the church into darkness about 30 minutes before quiz time. We are extremely thankful for Beth and Alan Stanfield as they allowed us to pivot and move to their office space for the day. Our volunteers helped pack up and move the whole competition down the road. Our quizzers and coaches were flexible, our spectators still came to watch, and we even walked away with a win! We can’t emphasize enough how grateful we are for our people. Thank you!
Camp Quaker Haven
Thanks to Josh Lee and Kaleb Locke for sharing the ways that Camp Quaker Haven has touched so many lives. We join them in celebration of 75 years of camp ministry! As they both shared, there is work to be done to facilities to expand this ministry for the next 75 years. If you have a heart for Camp Quaker Haven would you consider praying, volunteering, or donating? If you have questions, you can email Kaleb, or his wife Sarah, Camp Quaker Haven Directors.
