In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, we seek solace but also celebrate the power of positivity and hope. The aftermath of natural disasters often leaves behind a landscape of destruction. Yet, amidst the debris and challenges, we find glimmers of light and reasons to be thankful. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 Let us not be disheartened by the challenges ahead, but rather inspired by the opportunities they present for growth and unity. Together, let us lift each other up in prayer and support. As Hurricane Beryl moves out of the area and cleanup begins, if you need assistance or if you are available to help others in need, please get in touch with the church office by email. |
Vacation Bible School |
Vacation Bible School was postponed and is scheduled to begin on Wednesday. Be praying for the hearts of the many children who will be joining us this week. While this week looks a little different, we will still be celebrating all of the amazing VBS experiences at the picnic after the service on July 14th, and volunteers are needed. If you are available to help with either food prep before the picnic (Sunday, July 14th at 9 am) or clean up immediately after, please contact Joyce Byrne at the church office. |
Roofing Project |
Due to the nature of the roofing project, the main doors to the office will be blocked. Please contact the church if you need to be on campus next week, and we will direct you to the best and safest entrance. |
Summer Activities |
Join us each week as we continue to explore different topics and have opportunities to get to know someone new. We hope you can make it to Coffee Cafe Conversations on Sunday mornings this Summer at 9:00 AM! Next week’s Friends Summer Outing is a movie day. Due to construction planned on the roof, we will meet at Cinemark in Webster at 9:30 am to watch Disney’s The Lion King together. Tickets are available for purchase on the Cinemark website for as little as $5. Visit our website to see the rest of the summer schedule. Friends Summer Outings Weekly Information |
