URGENT: We are in desperate need of 3 adults who can help drive our students to and from Camp Quaker Haven.  We need one more driver for June 12-13 and two more drivers for June 16-17.  For either trip, you would drive up to Kansas the first day, spend one night at the camp, and drive back to Friendswood the following day.   You would be driving a rental van and would have another adult driver with you to trade off.  Funds would be provided to cover your travel meals.  These times at camp are so important for the spiritual formation of our students; please consider helping out.  For more information, contact [email protected], or call the church office.

Please pray for the students and staff who will be heading to Dude Camp this coming Sunday!  A group of about 130 campers, leaders and helpers will be leaving for Forest Glen Christian Camp after church on May 28th.  Pray for God’s blessing on their time together as they draw nearer to God, make new friendships and have lots of fun. 

Prayers would also be appreciated for Josiah and Courtney Brown as they finish packing and say goodbyes this week, and move to Oklahoma this coming weekend to begin their new ministry in Chandler.  Thanks to everyone who helped to make the celebration for the Browns this past Sunday a special time.  We will miss you Josiah, Courtney, Everett and Owen!

Just a reminder that our children’s and students’ Sunday School classes are taking a break for the summer beginning this Sunday.  We will see you in August for Promotion Sunday! 

Congratulations to Molly and Daniel De La Cerda, who welcomed a newborn foster son to their home last week. Please pray for Molly and Daniel and baby Izzy.
