Brad, Chelsea, Sarai, Gideon, and Ian Carpenter, missionaries to Rwanda, are in town and visiting with us for the next week. We are so fortunate to have them here state-side. After the service, there will be a reception with them on Sunday, May 19. We hope you feel encouraged to stay to learn more about them and their work in Rwanda. Contact Molly De La Cerda if you would like to host the Carpenters to get to know them better over coffee or dinner.

Summer Sundays
Coffee Cafe Conversations
Beginning June 2nd, join us on Sunday Mornings in the Coffee Cafe for donuts, coffee, and conversations from 9:00 – 9:45 AM. Each week we will gather to have a small breakfast and enjoy facilitated discussions over scripture and spiritual topics intergenerationally. We look forward to spending Summer Sundays in conversation with you and your families.

Summer Activities: As we begin transitioning into summer, here are a few ways that you can join in community with one another.
Friends on the Patio
Men and Women are invited to join us on June 18th at Dunn Bros Coffee to enjoy each other’s company in conversation and music. We look forward to seeing you there!
Friends Summer Outings
This summer we plan to have a combination of service and fun outings each Tuesday for our children and students. Information is updated regularly on our website. Click below to be taken directly to the information page.Friends Summer Outings Weekly Information

Family Promise
Our host week for Family Promise begins Sunday. We will need volunteers to bring and serve dinner and hosts to stay overnight. Volunteers to help set up and tear down rooms will also be needed this Sunday and next Sunday. If you would be interested in volunteering or have any questions, please reach out to Beth Skeeter or Desiree Trevino.

End of Year Celebrations
Last night, a tradition of Senior Dinner continued. Katelyn took out two graduating seniors, Jack Dawson and Brynn Baumer, to celebrate and recognize their accomplishments and involvement with student ministries. This Sunday, we will continue recognizing graduating seniors and our Making Disciples 5th graders.

There will be a celebration breakfast with light refreshments this Sunday, May 19 at 9:00 AM in the Coffee Cafe. Graduating Seniors and Making Disciples mentors and mentees will be celebrated at the breakfast. All are invited to attend the breakfast and honor these two groups.

If you have a graduating high school or college senior, we would like to recognize them. Please use the button below to complete the  Graduate Information form by tomorrow to have your graduate recognized on Sunday.
