Greetings from Dude Camp!!

On Sunday, Ms. Tena and company traveled to Forest Glen Camp in Huntsville, TX with over 95 fourth and fifth-grade students for “Climbing Mountains” Dude Camp. This camp experience focuses on providing kids with a foundation for meeting and knowing Jesus Christ. Be praying for the counselors and kids as they have fun, learn about making Jesus choices, and for their return home on Wednesday. If you would like to see more photos from Dude Camp, check out our Facebook page, where camp photographer, Alicia Baumer, is updating regularly. We will also update arrival times for pick-up through the website and Facebook. MJC!

Camp Drivers Needed!
We have great news! We have 25 high school campers, 38 junior high campers, several counselors, and program staff attending camp this year. This means we need many vans and many drivers!

Do you have a flexible schedule, are you off, or could you take off a few days this summer to help drive students to Camp Quaker Haven? We need a total of 26 drivers over 6 travel days to get our students to and from camp safely.

Here is a breakdown of the specific needs:
June 5th and 6th (3 more drivers needed)June 5th – Drive HS campers to CQH, departing FFC around 10:00 am. June 6th – Take campers into town for breakfast and Walmart before returning them to camp. Drivers depart CQH in one van around 10:00 am.
June 10th and 11th (2 more drivers needed)June 10th – Drive JH campers to CQH, departing FFC around 10:00 am. June 11th – Drive HS campers home, departing CQH around 8:30 am.
June 14th and 15th (3 more drivers needed)June 14th-  Drivers depart FFC in one van anytime they would like. (the earlier you leave, the better chance you have of getting to see campers at their end-of-camp celebration)June 15th – Drive JH campers home, departing CQH around 10:00 am after the final morning chapel and group picture.
If you are available, please email Katelyn or call the church office for her cell phone number.
